About the event
In our death-denying culture, few of us contemplate the certainty of our death or that it could happen at any time, yet contemplating death is vital to putting us in touch with our best and truest self and encourages us to be more clear about our priorities. It is also the best way that we know of to support one another – and to protect our families from conflict.Â
One of the greatest legacies we can leave our loved ones is to ensure they have the information they need when the time comes; allowing them to focus on grieving and healing rather than being consumed by stressful searches for information or even worse, family conflicts around decisions.
Created through an interdisciplinary and collaborative effort, this interactive program provides a springboard for important and life-changing conversations to occur.
Improve death literacy, reduce stress and stigma around end of life discussions, and learn skills necessary to initiate courageous conversations about life and death. Our goal is to create an experience that leaves participants inspired and empowered to take action.
