John Q. Public
John Q. Public is not a real person, but he fancies himself a political buff just the same. He's long been a Democratic voter, and enthusiastically supports Barack Obama in the 2008 elections. He is an avid watcher of the US political process, and enjoys conversing with similarly politically-enthusiastic viewers, on either side of the political aisle.
