After our great alpha phase, we kicked off our private beta phase, bringing in interested bloggers and writers to put Dyalogues through its paces and have a little fun conversing with each other.

So far, our Dyaloguers have engaged in:

• 14 politics debates, including “Octomom: Our tax dollars, her womb?” and “Barack Obama: Savior or more of the same?”
• 10 technology debates, including “Should the US Government Assist with Google PowerMeter Installation in the US?” and “Mobile GPS - blessing or curse?”
• 28 arts/entertainment debates, including “American Idol Casting: Do the Already and Almost Famous Deserve Their Slots?” and “Should Christopher Nolan direct a third Batman movie?”
• 6 technology reviews, including “Entropia Universe (Planet Calypso, formerly Project Entropia)” and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Vegas - 2″
• 30 arts/entertainment reviews, including “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “Spaced: Strange Sitcom from the BBC, starring Simon Pegg”

So, arts & entertainment, at least among our small group of beta users, is the most popular top-level category. All of them have been fascinating to read, and, for a few, to participate in myself.
